Bosch/Neff/Siemens dishwasher faults E:15 & E:09

Are you experiencing an E:15  or E:09 error on your Bosch, Neff or Siemens dishwasher?

(Or for dishwashers without displays, a continuing churning sound or no heating).

We've dealt with many of these errors and carry the official manufacturer's repair/modification sets on the van to address these well-known problems.

There are currently two main causes of the E:15 error code which causes the pump to run continuously and stops the machine from working.

The first is an internal sump leak which the machine detects and brings on the drain pump permanently. A repair set has been made available from the manufacturer to fix this fault.

The second is a separation of the plastic base from the steel side wall which causes the same issue.  You are unlikely to see an actual leak on the floor in this case, but the water will enter the area where the motor, pump and other components reside, lifting a polystyrene float which, in turn, triggers a microswitch and brings on the pump continuously & then displays an error code (E:15) (should your model have a display).

There is now an official repair set from the manufacturer to fix this fault which involves seals and metal strengthening bars for the side of the dishwasher which straightens & supports the right and rear internal steel wall.

E:09 error code or dishwasher not heating.

An E:09 error is commonly a failed heater (combined heater and circulating motor on current models).

The heater will require replacing for an E:09.  A spare heater is usually available on the van so can often be fixed on he same day as the visit without the need for it to be ordered.

There's a post on our Blog showing the process!
