Bosch/Neff/Siemens sump leaks & E:15 errors
A repair set is available for this fault but it's very difficult to fit!

Internal leaks are quite common on Bosch/Neff/Siemens dishwashers.
Some have a plastic base which separates from the steel sides over time, causing water to enter the internal base of the machine. A float detects this water and brings on the pump permanently and with most displays, elicits an E:15 code (see my other blog post) https://www.fixmywhitegoods.co.uk/bosch-neff-siemens-dishwasher-e-15-faults
However, there's also an issue which affects the sump, and BSH (Bosch/Neff/Siemens) have a repair set for this which involves replacing a silicone seal on top of the existing one through the top of the sump assembly.
These are very difficult to fit as it involves trimming off plastic with a sharp knife, then pulling the seal through two post-holes using a supplied wire hook.
A very difficult and often frustrating job as the silicone comes close to sharp metal edges and can easily be cut.
Fortunately, I've done many of these over the years and now fit them with relative ease!
